ECSI IS ANNOUNCING THE TELECOM SYSTEM DESIGN INDUSTRY COUNCIL PROJECT (SYDIC – Telecom)

ECSI (The Electronic Chips & Systems design Initiative) today is announcing the launching of the SYDIC-Telecom project, together with the major European telecommunication players: Alcatel, Bosch, Ericsson, Infineon, Intracom, Italtel, Nokia, Philips and VTT Electronics. The aim of SYDIC-Telecom is to define methodologies and techniques to facilitate System-on-Chip design adopting IP reuse, and to assist in the emergence of a system level IP market. The SYDIC-Telecom project is 50% funded by the Commission of the European Communities, for a three-year duration.
